Network of Eurofound Correspondents: Romania (2018-2022)

The aim of the contract is to offer input to Eurofound which allows to map and compare regulations, policies and practices in industrial relations, working conditions, labour markets and employment as well as in other social policy related areas.

Objectives:

  • to contribute to regular monitoring and reporting of relevant developments and research activities;
  • to collect, analyze and report on Romania’s specific developments (regulations, policies and practices) regarding working conditions, industrial relations, the labor market (including restructuring) and other social policy areas, as contained in the document programming Eurofound 2017-2020;
  • to provide assistance, to a limited extent, about information that will support Eurofound’s communication activities;
  • assist Eurofound in identifying key political debates and national stakeholders in relation to areas under observation.

Activities:

Network of Eurofound Correspondents: Romania will provide scheduled and on-request reporting services and will continue to collect, analyze and report on specific developments in Romania (regulations, policies and practices) regarding working conditions, industrial relations, the labor market (including restructuring) and other areas of social policy. The activities are related to setting up working groups and making deliverables to Eurofound.

Organizing quarterly debates on current topics of interest and research for both Eurofound and the labor market in Romania. The consortium intends to hold four quarterly debates every year during which Eurofound work and reports will be disseminated and used.

The budget is 100,000 euro for four years, 2018-2022.
