The series Interviews@EIR begins with an interview granted by H.E. Mr. Luca Niculescu, Secretary of State in the Foreign Affairs Ministry and National Coordinator for Romania’s OECD Accession Process.
This interview focuses on Romania’s accession process to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and sets forth the most recent developments in this direction. Thus, special emphasis is given to Romania’s demarches and advancements in achieving this objective of national interest. It is estimated that both the efforts undertaken, in the pre-accession period, in view of complying with the standards, legal instruments and good practices of this organisation, and the future membership of Romania in the OECD will bring tangible benefits, e.g. the attraction of foreign investments.
