The European Institute of Romania announces the publication in the micro-studies collection of a new policy brief titled: “A Half-Open Window: Opportunities and Obstacles to the Signature and Ratification of the European Union-MERCOSUR Agreement”.
The author, Stefano Arroque, presents the evolution of the relations between the MERCOSUR countries and the member states of the European Union after 2010, with a focus on the negotiations regarding the new trade agreement between the EU and MERCOSUR. A number of elements are outlined in the recommendations that can contribute to a consolidated relationship between the two trading partners.
