28 April 2011 – The European Institute of Romania organised the round table ‘Guidelines for a new industrial policy in Romania’ within the series Policies of Romania.
The event took place in the Conference Hall of EIR, on Thursday, 28 April 2011, and was attended by Gabriela Drăgan, Director-General of the European Institute of Romania, Professor Valentin Cojanu, PhD., Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Dragoş Pîslaru, General Manager GEA Strategy & Consulting SA, Christiana Leucuţa, Superior Counsellor, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, Professor Ileana Pătru-Stupariu, PhD., Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest.
The goal of the round table was to bring to public attention the results of the study ‘The competitive potential of economic growth: guidelines for a new industrial policy in Romania’ carried out within the SPOS 2010 Project.
The group of participants included representatives of central and local public administration, of academic and research environment, of business environment, of civil society, of media etc.
