20 years since the signing of the Treaty of Accession of Romania to the European Union

On April 25, 2005, at the Neumünster Abbey in Luxembourg, Romania signed the Treaty of Accession to the European Union. It was not merely a diplomatic act – it was a profound commitment to democracy, freedom, prosperity, and the future. A dream born out of the desire to overcome borders – not only geographical, but also historical.

On this occasion, the European Institute of Romania publishes an informational material, available here.
