The Friedrich-Ebert Foundation, in partnership with the European Institute of Romania (EIR) and the Institute for International Affairs and Security – SWP Berlin, organized on October 5-6, 2022, the 8th edition of the EURT – Romanian-German Round Table on the European issues, with the theme Zeitenwende: A New Chapter for the EU? German and Romanian Views. The event was held in Berlin to mark the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Romanian-German Cooperation and Partnership Treaty.
EIR was represented by Mrs. Alina Bârgăoanu, Ph.D. Professor, President of the Administrative Board. The Romanian delegation also included officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, analysts, and experts in European and security issues.
The meeting was conducted under Chatham House Rule.
