The European Institute of Romania (EIR) organised on Thursday, 9th March 2023, within the series entitled Dialogues@EIR, an online event with the topic: ’“Interconnectivity in the European Union – challenges regarding the future of transport policy in 2030.’’
Our guests at the dialogues were Daniela Staicu, associated professor, Ph.D, Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of Business Administration with teaching in foreign languages, coordinator of homonymous study SPOS 2022; Eugenia Gușilov, founding director of Romania’s Energy Center-ROEC, co-author of homonymous study SPOS 2022 and Silviu-Laurențiu Tiron, E-mobility specialist, E-ON Romania. The event was opened by Oana-Mihaela Mocanu, director general of the EIR, and the moderation was provided by Mihaela Padureanu, expert within the European Studies Unit (EIR).
Being a part of Dialogues@EIR series, the event had the objective to disseminate the research resulted within the homonymous study, its purpose being the identification of both the opportunities and the challenges for the future of Romania’s transport policy in the context of the twin digital and green transition of the European Union.
