7 March 2014 – The Information Bureau of the European Parliament in Romania and the European Institute of Romania organised Friday, 7 March 2014, a debate entitled “Preventing violence against women – a challenge for all”.
The event was part of the European Parliament’s activities organised in all member states on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, with the purpose of emphasizing the importance the EU attaches to promoting the role of women in society.
Members of the European Parliament, representatives of public institutions and of NGOs active in this field have been invited to express their views during the debate.
The event took place in Bucharest, 7 March 2014, UNITER Hall, Club Gala – Le Théâtre.
