24 April 2013 – The European Institute of Romania held a debate on “Perspectives of the migration policy in the current demographic context of Romania”.
Representatives of the Ministry of National Education, of the National Agency for Employment and of the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly People were invited to this event. Moreover, representatives of the institutional beneficiaries, of the academia and of the speciality research environment and independent experts also participated to this event. The debate was moderated by Ms. Victoria Stoiciu, Project Coordinator, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Romania.
The starting point of the discussions was the result of the research conducted in the study on “Perspectives of the migration policy in the current demographic context of Romania”. The coordinator of this study, Mr. Bogdan Suditu, University lecturer, PhD at the Faculty of Geography, the University of Bucharest gave a broad overview of the research conducted.
