Debate: Lobbying in Romania vs. lobbying in the European Union

0 July 2014 – The European Institute of Romania organised on 10 July a debate on Lobbying in Romania vs. lobbying in the European Union.

The debate eas attended by representatives of the Romanian Parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Representation of the European Commission in Romania, the European Institute of Romania, representatives of the academia and business environment, European affairs experts, lobbying experts, as well as representatives of the civil society and media.

The debate was part of a project carried out under the coordination of EIR in the period June – November 2014, concerning an analysis on the issue of lobbying in the European Union, the impact that lobby activities have on public policy making, as well as good practices at the level of EU member states.

The event took place at the EIR Conference Hall (7-9 Regina Elisabeta Blvd., fourth floor) according to the attached draft agenda.
