Debate: ”Financial transactions tax and its consequences on economic growth, financial stability and public finance”, June 11, 2013

11 June 2013 –The European Institute of Romania, in partnership with the National Bank of Romania, organised on June 11, 2013 a debate on the “Financial transactions tax and its consequences on economic growth, financial stability and public finance”.

The event was organised on the ocasion of the presentation in public debate of the results of the study on the same theme undertaken within the Strategy and Policy Studies (SPOS) conducted by the European Institute of Romania in 2012. The debate was attended by the members of the research team, representatives of the beneficiary institutions, as well as representatives of the academic and research environment, experts and analysts in economy, finance, banking, representatives of the civil society, students, mass media etc.
