The European Institute of Romania organized, on the 11th of June 2012, a debate with the topic European Semester: component of the reform of European economic governance.
The starting point of the discussions was be the result of the research undertaken by the study European Semester: ensuring sustainable economic growth through sound public finances. Lessons for Romania from the public finances’ sustainability point of view.
The coordinator of the study, Mr. Moisă Altăr, PhD, Professor at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, presented the results of this research. Officials from public institutions and relative bodies, co-authors of the study, experts from social partners, businness environment and academic milieu also participated to the conference. The debate was chaired by Mr. Dumitru Miron, PhD, Professor at Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
