18 May 2016 – The European Institute of Romania (EIR), in partnership with Euractiv Network and Freedom House Romania, a debate on Atypical work in agriculture.
Main topics approached during the debate: rural poverty – causes and solutions; increasing employment among young people; rejuvenation of the workforce in agriculture; sustainable development of communities in rural areas; the situation of day laborers in agriculture etc.
The event was part of the project EUROFOUND Correspondents Network: Romania, financed by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (EUROFOUND), project implemented during the period 1 March 2014 – 28 February 2018 by a consortium made up of the European Institute of Romania, S.C. Euractiv Network S.R.L. and Freedom House Romania.
