19 April 2011 – The European Institute of Romania and the Ministry of Environment and Forests organised the conference Green economic growth – starting point for sustainable development on 19 April 2011.
Laszlo Borbely, Minister of Environment and Forests, Teodor Baconschi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Mănoiu, Minister, Head of the Department for European Affairs, Elena Udrea, Minister of Regional Development and Tourism have been invited to the conference.
The event was also attended by Niculae Idu, Head of the Representation of the EC in Romania, Gabriela Drăgan, Director-General of the European Institute of Romania, as well as by other officials from ministries and research and public institutions with responsibilities in this field.
The group of participants included representatives of central and local public administration, of academic and research environment, of business environment, of civil society, of media etc.
