Editorial release: EUCO Debrief (climate action, migration, security, etc.)

TEPSA, the trans-European research network for European affairs, recently published a debrief as a response to the conclusions adopted by the European Council. On this occasion, experts from several partner research institutes were invited to contribute with opinions. The texts developed were intended to provide answers to the European Council’s negotiations on various issues.

Thus, the European Institute of Romania presented through the experts of the European Studies Unit opinions on the following topics: the added value of the European strategic compass (Ionuț-Mircea Marcu), EU-NATO relations and key elements of the European decision-making process (Mihaela-Adriana Pădureanu and Ana-Maria Andreea Anghelescu), and the reform of migration and asylum policy (Mihai Sebe).

The material includes a foreword, signed by Jim Cloos, TEPSA Secretary-General, and some concluding remarks presented by the University of Cologne’s Wolfgang Wessels.
