16 May 2013 – The European Institute of Romania organised a debate on the “Perspectives and challenges of Romania’s exports in 2010 – 2014”.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Parliament of Romania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest have been among the guests of the event. Representatives of the institutional beneficiaries, of the academic environment, of the business environment, of the diplomacy and researchers in the field, as well as independent experts also attended. The debate was moderated by Mrs. Gabriela Dragan, Director General of the European Institute of Romania and by Mr. Florin Bonciu, Pro-Rector, Romanian-American University.
The starting point of the debates was the outcome of the research undertaken within the study on “Perspectives and challenges of Romania’s exports in 2010 – 2014, from the point of view of the bilateral and regional trade relations of the EU”. The coordinator of the study, Mr. Cornel Albu, Deputy Director of the Institute for World Economy, gave a thorough presentation of the research undertaken.
