31 March 2015 – The European Institute of Romania, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice, organised the conference Lobby, from theory to practice. Implications on the public policies, the business environment and NGOs in Romania.
The conference was attended by officials representing the Parliament of Romania, the Ministry of Justice, and the European Institute of Romania, academics, representatives of the business environment, experts in European affairs and in lobbying, representatives of the civil society, and mass-media.
This event marked the finalisation of the study entitled Lobby in Romania vs lobby in the European Union, conducted by a research team coordinated by PhD Professor Simina Tănăsescu. The study presents an analysis on the issues of lobbying in the European Union, the impact of lobby activities on the making of public policies, as well as examples of good practices from EU member states.
